El embajador de la cultura y la música cubana, Ibrahím Ferrer Jr., regresa a Venezuela para celebrar el 25 aniversario de Buena Vista Social Club, el emblemático club social donde se reunían los mejores soneros de La Habana como Compay Segundo, Manuel “Puntillita” Licea e Ibrahim Ferrer.
El espectáculo se llevará a cabo el próximo 30 de julio en la Concha Acústica de Bello Monte y reunirá a más de 14 músicos en tarima que interpretarán los sones y fusiones que dieron a conocer a la música cubana en el mundo: cha, cha, chá, guarachas, boleros y latin jazz.
La voz de Ibrahím Ferrer Jr. será la dirección musical del piano, baby bass, set de percusión, tres cubano, trombón, trompeta y percusión menor para interpretar éxitos como “El cuarto de Tula”, “Dos Gardenias”, “Candela”, “Chan Chan” y “La Bayamesa”. A través de este tributo a la música cubana con ritmos más contemporáneos, Caracas se convertirá por tan solo una noche en el barrio Buena Vista 3, núm. 4610, de la ciudad de La Habana.
El show tendrá como invitados especiales al vibracionista Alfredo Naranjo, la cantante Betsayda Machado y la Séptima Bohemia, agrupación venezolana que fusiona la esencia de la música cubana con toques del género urbano, flamenco y hip hop.
Las entradas para el evento están a la venta a través de la plataforma digital www.ticketplate.com y en las taquillas de dicha empresa ubicadas en Beco del Centro Comercial Ciudad Tamanaco, Nivel 1. Los tickets tienen un costo de 40$ la entrada general y 80$ la entrada VIP. Las puertas del evento se abrirán a las 4:30pm para recibir a unas 4.000 personas aproximadamente.
Este evento llega a la capital venezolana para marcar un antes y un después en la oferta de entretenimiento actual. Se trata de un espectáculo sin precedentes que reunirá en tarima a músicos de una calidad excepcional, para rendir homenaje a quienes escribieron la historia de la salsa de élite y dieron vida cada noche al Buena Vista Social Club.
Acerca de Ibrahim Ferrer Jr.
Ibrahim Ferrer Jr. es el hijo menor de Ibrahim Ferrer, el reconocido vocalista de Buena Vista Social Club. Ibrahim Jr. participó en la grabación del CD y film Buena Vista Social Club, lo cual influyó en su decisión de abandonar su carrera como Ingeniero Naval para radicarse en Argentina y dedicarse exclusivamente a la música.
Desde ese entonces, y al igual que su padre, Ibrahim Ferrer Jr. se ha convertido en una voz icónica en el mundo de la salsa, al principio a través de la agrupación Clave Cubana y posteriormente como solista.
Hoy en día, este artista integral es citado en los escenarios más importantes de Europa y Sudamérica para conquistar a un público que quedó cautivado con su voz sonera y su música influenciada por el latin jazz y los ritmos afrocubanos y latinos como la bachata y el bossa nova. Ibrahim Ferrer Jr. es hoy en día la mejor representación artística de los soneros del mundo.
